Years ago, I worked on an idea to visualize job opportunities directly on a map instead of endless lists of vacancies. At the time, the idea was simple:

Don't just show where you can work.
Show where you could live your life.
How long is the commute?
Is there public transport?
Schools and childcare nearby?
Parks?
Cafés?
Apartments?
What's the neighborhood like?
The technology wasn't ready, and neither was the market. Today, while building CursusX, I realized something interesting. The same location-based platform we're using for real-world challenges could also power Job Challenges. Imagine companies creating interactive challenges instead of static job listings.
🏃 Walk through the company campus.
☕ Visit a recruiting event.
🎯 Complete a small coding challenge on-site.
👥 Meet future colleagues.
🌳 Explore the surrounding neighborhood.
🎁 Earn rewards while discovering the company.
Instead of asking candidates to imagine what working somewhere feels like...
...let them experience it.
Maybe recruiting shouldn't start with a PDF and an "Apply" button.
Maybe it should start with a place.
