About Seoul Startup Society (SSS)
Seoul Startup Society is an inclusive, diverse, and forward-thinking community. We are not just active participants in Korea’s startup and venture capital ecosystem; we are part of the driving force behind the city’s evolving identity as a global innovation hub.
Our members: founders, business owners, professionals, entrepreneurs, and aspiring entrepreneurs play a vital role in shaping Seoul’s dynamic, international, and innovative landscape.
What makes our community unique is its global DNA. The majority of our members come from outside Korea, carrying with them a deep sense of responsibility — not only to the communities they represent, but also to the city and country they now call home.
Our contribution goes far beyond building businesses or driving economic growth. We are cultural ambassadors, innovators, and bridge-builders, connecting Korea with the world through diverse perspectives, achievements, and collaborations. In doing so, we help strengthen the city’s position as a place where global talent and ideas thrive.
Global Advisor
In recognition of our community’s active involvement and contributions to the economy and Korea’s global vision, SSS founder Tyler Sahib has been appointed by Gangnam City's Samseong-dong as a Global Advisor for the UNESCO Seonjeong-neung Cultural Street Festival.
This recognition from Gangnam; one of Seoul’s most vibrant business and innovation hubs, home to global companies, startups, venture capital firms, and cutting-edge industries; is a meaningful milestone for our society. It reflects not only the trust the city places in our community but also our growing role in shaping its global identity.
Global Ambassadors
In addition to the above appointment, several members of Seoul Startup Society have been selected as Global Ambassadors for the UNESCO Seonjeong-neung Cultural Street Festival. This recognition reflects the city’s trust in the individuals who make up our community and their growing role in representing Seoul’s global vision.

What is the festival?
The festival is a cultural festival with Performance, Street Art, Food, and more near a UNESCO World Heritage Tomb from the Joseon Dynasty.

Who can visit?
Everyone is welcome at the festival, there will be international presence, including a booth of the Seoul Startup Society participating companies and entrepreneurs.
