Program Description

The ASEAN Secretariat, National IT Industry Promotion Agency, and Cradle Fund are liaising to launch the AI Youth Festa 2025, aimed at solving sustainable issues faced by AI startups from ASEAN and the Republic of Korea.

Eligibility Criteria

2 teams will be accepted from each ASEAN Member State + Republic of Korea (한국팀 참여가능) with the following criteria:

AI Startups < 7 years old (established after 21 Aug 2018)
Startups established as sole proprietorships or corporations
Pre-startups (not yet registered as businesses)
Founders must be nationals of ASEAN countries or Korea

Program Activities and Benefits

(8-Week Accelerating Program):The Korean accelerator, Y&ARCHER, will provide a customized online accelerating program lasting approximately 8 weeks to 22 selected startup teams.(22 Teams) Business infrastructure support such as cloud services and payment gateway (PG) systems will be provided (e.g., Google Cloud, Naver Cloud, Amazon Web Services, etc.).(Awarded Teams) Market research consulting for target regions will be offered on a team-by-team basis.
(Pitch Competition Travel Support):Hotel accommodations and round-trip flight tickets will be covered (based on a 4-day, 3-night schedule in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).
(Networking Opportunities): A networking event will be held during the pitch competition, providing opportunities for meetups with interested VCs, accelerators, and companies.
(Prizes for Awarded Teams): Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams selected as outstanding teams: - 1st Place KRW 28 million (approx. USD 20,000) - 2nd Place KRW 14 million (approx. USD 10,000) - 3rd Place KRW 7 million (approx. USD 5,000)
