Program Description

This is an Intellectual Property course supported by the Korean government for non-Korean startups and entrepreneurs who are interested in doing business in Korea.

Program Activities and Benefits

In this Basic Intellectual Property course, you will learn about the basics of IP, how to build it, and its legal basis.

After finishing this course, you will obtain 10 points that can be used to obtain D10-2 (Startup Preparation Visa) and when accumulated with other points, you will reach to 60 points to be eligible to apply for the D8-4 (Startup Visa).

You will also receive a certificate of completion which you can use in the immigration office.

Program Instructions

※ Each session runs for 50 minutes with a 10-minute break.

※ Completion is recognized with at least 80% attendance.

※ Tardiness and early departures are checked in 30-minute units and deducted from participation time.

※ The schedule is subject to change depending on the circumstances.

※ Applicants are required to complete a phone interview prior to application confirmation.

※ The program will be opened if there are at least 15 applicants.

※ Participants who fail to complete the course due to absence, withdrawal, or expulsion will be restricted from all programs for 6 months after the end date. Exceptions apply with proof of unavoidable reasons (e.g., illness or accident).
