Program Description

This is an Intellectual Property course supported by the Korean government for non-Korean startups and entrepreneurs who are interested in doing business in Korea.

This course provides eligibility points for the D-10-2 (Startup Preparation) and D-8-4 (Startup)visas.

Program Activities and Benefits

In this Basic Intellectual Property course, you will learn about the basics of IP, how to build it, and its legal basis.

After finishing this course, you will obtain 10 points that can be used towards your D10-2 (Startup Preparation Visa) or the D8-4 (Startup Visa).

- You will also receive a certificate of completion which you can use at the immigration office.

- Introduction to Intellectual Property

- Creative Ideas for Invention

- Sharing and presenting ideas

- Writing and drawing for declaration

Seoul Global Center

Established in 2008 under the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the Seoul Global Center is a comprehensive support organization dedicated to SGC offers assistance to Seoul foreign residents and international students to adapt smoothly to life in Seoul, unlock their full potential, and live happily in the city. As of April 2025, the center is operated by OPENKNOWL Co., Ltd. under the commission of the Seoul Metropolitan Government. We currently operate the OASIS startup visa program under Ministry of Justice.

✅ Fill out the business plan and submit along your application (check attached file in this announcement)
* You can submit “Company profile/Portfolio”(e.g. Product/service introduction, etc.) (Optional)
✅The lecture is English.
✅ Total 12 hours, and a minimum attendance of 80% is required for completion.
✅ Selected applicants will be notified individually.
